안녕하세요~  출퇴근을 영어로 어떻게 표현할까요? 퇴근하다 = Get off work, 출근하다 = Go to work라고 표현합니다.

 

회사 퇴근 후 친구와 즐거운 저녁식사를 하려고 해요~

친구에게 ㅇㅇ시에 퇴근하는데 언제 만날까??라고 말하고 싶은데 말이죠 ~

그럼 영어로 퇴근은 어떻게 표현할까요?

퇴근하다 = Get off work라고 표현할 수 있습니다.

또 ~ 출근은 어떻게 표현 할까요?

출근하다 = Go to work라고 표현할 수 있습니다.

I go to work in downtown Seoul, but I live in a different part of city. 

I dont have a car, so I usually depend on public transportation. 

On most days, my commute to work takes about an hour

 

* Go to work : 출근하다 * Downtown : 시내, 도심지

 

On typical day, my commute starts when I leave my studio at 6 a.m and go to the subway station, which is a

tree-minute walk away. Then I take a subway for about 20 minutes to bus station. The Yellow bus makes 10 stops

before it reaches the stop nearest to my work. From there, I walk about four blocks to my office building.

 

* Typical : 보통의, 일반의 * Walk away : 떠나다, 걸어가다

 

I have always found the commute to be a hassle. During rush hour, the train is mobbed with people.

There's hardly room to breathe, which gets on my nerves. It is worse during summer when everyone

is sweaty from the humid weather.

 

* Hassle : 귀 찮은일, 번거로운 일 * Mobbed with : ~이 떼로 몰리다 * Get on one's nerves 신경을 건들다.
