가는 중이야를 영어로?? Daily 영어회화 공부

안녕하세요.  ~ 가는 중이야를 영어로 어떻게 표현 할까요? ~ 가는 중이다, ~ 로 가는 길에 = On one's way to 라고 표현합니다.

 

약속시간이 다가와 외국인 친구가 전화로 야 너 지금어디야?? 라고 물어본다면

나는 너한테 가는중이야 라고 말하고 싶은데요.. 

그럼 영어로 ~ 가는 중이다 를 어떻게 표현할까요?

~ 가는 중이다, ~ 로 가는 길에 = On one's way to 라고 표현할 수 있습니다.

그럼 일상 일기를 읽어보며 여러 단어와 문장을 익혀보겠습니다~

 

Normally, I enjoy talking walks in all kinds of weather, but sometime I dislike taking walks in the Winter.

I had a memorable experience one time while I was walking on an icy road during the winter.

To be specific, I was on my way to the park to see my friends. I was so excited to hang out with them.

Because I had not seen them two week even though we lived so close.

 

* Memorable : 기억할만한 * To be specific : 구체적으로 말하면 * on one's way : ~ 가는 중이다, ~ 로 가는 길에

 

When I got to the park, I spotted my friends from afar and called out to them. Then I was going to run in their direction, but I had only gone about 10 meters when I suddenly slipped on a patch of ice.

My breath stopped, and for a moment both of my feet were in the air.

 

* Afar : 멀리서, 아득히 * Spot : 발견하다 * Slip : 미끄러지다 * Patch (조그마한) 부분

 

I fell backward onto the sidewalk and landed heavily on my bottom. I am totally sure It was a so funny sight because all of my friends were laughing. Even though I was fine that I wasn't hurt, I couldn't help but fell embarrassed by the whole situation.

 

* Fall backward : 뒤로 넘어지다 * Sidewalk : 인도 * land (땅 표면에) 내려앉다 * Bottom : 밑, 엉덩이

* Couldn't help but do : ~ 하지 않을 수 없었다.
